Exploring the invisible, the microscopic, and the unseen, this exhibition brings together the experimental practices of Elif Cadoux, Lucia Cozzi, Weather Citizen x caitlin c. harvey, Maya Davis, Taeyoon Choi, Natasha Viosna Moody, Sam Seurynck, and Daniel Sharp. Through sculpture, moving image, sound, performance, and archival interventions, this international group of artists explores forms of life, knowledge, and interdependence that reconsider and extend beyond human perception.
Imbolc is an annual interdisciplinary arts festival exploring contemporary relationships to nature through the lens of Celtic mythological tradition. Organized in collaboration with Always Tomorrow, this exhibition is one of fifteen activations, interventions, and performances presented across six venues in Detroit from January 29-February 2. Over fifty artists are expected to participate across the weekend in this entirely artist-led and volunteer-run endeavor.
